Grades & Quality Points
The University of Saint Francis operates on a 4.0 grading system and determines the scholastic standing of students according to the following scale:

F | Failure in course or unofficial withdrawal | 0.0 |
P | Pass | |
F | Fail (If pass/fail course) | |
I | Incomplete work | |
W | Withdrawal before mid-semester, or after the drop deadline of an accelerated format course (does not negatively affect the grade point average) | |
WP | Passing at time of official withdrawal after mid-semester (does not negatively affect the grade point average) | |
WF | Failure at time of official withdrawal after mid-semester (lowers the grade point average) | |
AU | Audit | |
CR | Credit Only | |
NC | No credit | |

Audit Courses at the graduate level may be taken on a special non-credit basis, with the approval of the Graduate Office.
* If a student receives an “F” in a required graduate level course, the course must be repeated the next term it is offered if permitted by program policy.
